梅赛德斯-奔驰将把北美充电标准 (NACS) 纳入其电动汽车产品线，这意味着，从2024年开始，梅赛德斯-奔驰车主可以在北美使用 Tesla 超级充电桩，奔驰将首先提供一个适配器，使得现有车型可以使用特斯拉超充。
这让北美的奔驰车主一下子就多出来12000余个充电站点。
从2025年开始，奔驰在北美的纯电动车将直接使用NACS接口。
这将让梅赛德斯-奔驰将成为第一家在其新款电动汽车中采用 NACS 端口的德国 OEM。
但同时，奔驰依然矢志不渝地打造自有高功率充电网络。
奥拉·康林松 (Ola Källenius)表示，“我们的战略重点很明确：打造世界上最受欢迎的汽车。为了加速向电动汽车的转变，我们致力于提升客户的整个电动汽车体验 - 包括快速、方便和可靠的充电解决方案，无论他们的梅赛德斯-奔驰在哪里。这就是为什么我们致力于建立我们的全球梅赛德斯-奔驰大功率充电网络，第一批站点将于今年开业。同时，我们还在我们的车辆中使用 NACS，让驾驶员能够访问广泛的高功率充电网络-北美地区的优质充电服务。”
北美首个梅赛德斯-奔驰充电中心将于 2023 年底开放，并将配备 CCS1 和 NACS 两个标准的充电桩。
在全球范围内，梅赛德斯-奔驰计划到本十年末在北美、欧洲、中国和其他核心市场建立超过2000个充电中心。总共将包括超过 10,000 个充电点，并可根据市场需求进一步扩大。梅赛德斯-奔驰充电中心将向所有品牌的电动汽车普遍开放，确保广大电动汽车车主都能使用。如今，借助 Mercedes me Charge，梅赛德斯-奔驰客户可以访问全球超过 120 万个充电点。
